This piece is inspired by the Hierophant tarot card which Taurus corresponds to. The Earth herself is Taurus’ hierophant and greatest teacher… Stones, herbs, rivers, forests and mountains speak to them so clearly and meaningfully that Taurus is able to receive messages of truth and wonder simultaneously. This makes them highly creative through their artistic pursuits and capabilities.

An apple tree springs from the roots of the pentacle, honoring their desire for sensual delight, intimacy with nature, beauty and sweetness. The Nettles stand as gentle guardians of the Earths transmissions. Rose quartz, Taurus’ stone, symbolizes unconditional love, and is reflected from the inside of the Earth to the outside. As above so below…

This visual talisman is intended to invoke the spirit of Taurus, promoting security and safety in the home and the body, a deeper more sensual relationship with earthly pleasures, a steady development of resources and materials, unconditional love for the physical world and body, and a heightened ability to listen to the Earth’s wisdom.
