Mars represents both the sacred and the toxic masculine within us all.

Two iron swords contemplate war or surrender. The Rose that now stands up right in strength, will at some point inevitably be hung up side down as a symbol of remembrance. Stinging Nettles provide a
circle of protection from exterior forces, but they also have the
potential to sting the beholder… All of these contradictory symbols embody the influence of Mars, and this influence resides within us as well.

Mars answers our call for power within and without, to either be used for greater levels of self empowerment, and in it’s shadow, to cast power over others. This archetype is ultimately representative of our Will to live, to love, and to take actions to pursue our deepest passions and desires.

This visual talisman is intended to invoke the spirit of Mars, promoting fearlessness, protection in moments when one must state their place and fight for what they believe in, and the courage and strength to move through conflict with confidence and power.
