Those stories always have a function when they are formed. They keep us from harm, they shape our identity, they give us
meaning, they even provide us with a sense of structure at times…

But at some point, these kinds of stories begin to grow more and more outdated, until they become detrimental to our health and our growth. Some part of us LOVES to create stories that keep us from growing. Babalon as an archetype is fearless in the face of all of those stories. She knows how sensational it is to face our fears, and she chooses to experience endless pleasure in those sensations. She welcomes them even!

She dives straight into the crucible precisely because she knows it will lead to liberation, and she knows, in fact, that the act of diving in IS liberation. Because it is liberating to recognize when fear arises and doing it anyway. And even better, choosing to enjoy every minute of it.
