The state of the world is a testament to a very deep wound carved into the psyche of man as a species— a wound perpetuated by the future oriented fears that humans have been seized by for millennia.

But this wasn’t always the case…

Humans were not always operating outside of their bodies, outside of their environment, outside of this very moment…

In fact, for the vast majority of our time on this planet we worshiped the earth beneath our very feet, the elements that shaped our experience, the wombs who birthed life into being, and the animals who nourished us.

Our spiritual experience was one and the same with our material, bodily and ecological experience.

It was when we were directed to turn our attention to a God that resided outside of ourselves, our bodies, and our land that a great schism was carved into our psyches— a program that to this day tells us that what is happening outside of ourselves is far more important and worthy of our devotion than anything that happens within our physical experience.

In fact, this program tells us that our physical experience is what we should fear the most…

But in truth, to be bound to that outer reality, and to the future by extension, is to be bound to a sort of hellish existence. It is this binding that is the source of any and all fears or anxieties that plague the mind. It is this binding that leaves one forever wanting, forever yearning, forever unsatisfied…

Devoting ourselves to something outside of our human experience cannot truly serve that human experience. This is evident by the fact that we are so far removed from both our precious humanity and our awesome divinity that we largely operate more like cogs in an empty machine on a day to day basis than the sensitive, creative and ensouled beings that we are to our core.

Do you have to pencil-in connecting to your creative spirit, your magickal Self— your unique power?

Is there something wrong here?

In a culture that profits from our abandoning ourselves, it is in fact a revolutionary act to return to the primal awareness of the body, which has endless stories to tell, sensations to feel, and pieces of wisdom to draw meaning from.

This Lunar Eclipse in Virgo invites us to give ourselves the opportunity to be lovingly consumed by this very moment in time, and asks us to refine what we are giving our attention to— to ask ourselves, “is what I am doing in this moment in alignment with my values, my core truth and the depth of my power?”

If not, let it go.

Sacrifice it to this eclipse and witness your divinely human spark grow.

Many blessings on this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse,

Anna
