Philosopher's Stone Original
A 7.5×7.5” original painting illustrating attaining the knowledge of our absolute divinity.
In spiritual alchemy, the Philosopher’s Stone is the result of an alchemical marriage developed through doing the Great Work, a full integration of the conscious and unconscious mind.
We have attained the philosophers stone in those moments of absolute unity with the universe and the full spectrum of life’s energies. When we come to that exquisite “Ahaa!” Moment, realizing that we are all apart of this beautiful web, and the same star dust that we are made of makes up everything we experience materially, emotionally, psychically and spiritually thro if hour the entire universe. This piece symbolizes the love exchange between Mother Earth and Father Sky, making us the Divine Child of Heaven and Earth, and the realization that is born from this knowledge that the whole essence and potential of magic is all within you, precisely because it is all around you, at all times… As within, so without.
Mother of Swords Original
“Mother of Swords”, and the Star tarot card, inspired this piece… Though a fixed air sign living in the clouds, she is the water bearer, connecting to the elements through her ability to carry other’s emotions without letting them effect her personally. She sheds those watery emotions onto both the land, the material world, and back to it’s source in the river, the subconscious world. She is skilled at recycling emotions, transmuting them, and guiding them to be purified and neutralized by the land and river, all the while, staying dry and calling for change. Her ruling planet, Uranus, is a master of revolution, rebellion, and shaking up the status quo. There in lies Aquarius’ powers to lead. Oftentimes she feels alone in her power, for her desire for individuation, innovation, personal freedom run through her blood with a mighty current, and sometimes may show up as being ruled by the ego, being a rebel without a cause, or creating unnecessary conflict. It is deeply important for Aquarius to learn how to balance their desire for outer revolution with their need for an inner revolution, to shine their light on their shadows.
Persephone's Dream Original
“Persephone’s dream” was painted during Scorpio season 2020, when it felt like digging deep was particularly inevitable, on a personal and collective level.
By infusing imagery of Scorpio (the eagle) and the story of Persephone (the pomegranate) descending into the underworld, where death, of the ego and/or of the physical, is seemingly dark, we descend even further to find rare, illuminated treasures, and these treasures (the rainbow of crystals representing the 7 activated chakras, paths of the tree of life, and planetary influences) are symbolic of wholeness, the integration of the conscious and unconscious, the physical and spiritual, the individual and the collective, the microcosm and the macrocosm.
This piece is for those who are ready to willingly traverse the depths of their inner underworld, in order to rise back up, excavating the unique and profound gifts/shadows that have been concealed in the unconscious, with the goal of wholeness and full integration.
✨This one is something special… One of my favorite pieces I’ve created.✨
Goddess Morrigan Original
This is a 7.5×10 in. original painting!
The Morrigan is a Celtic triple goddess, and is also known as the Phantom Queen. She is the guardian of the circle of life, the shapeshifter, and the goddess of both birth and death. In this way, Morrigan corresponds to the influence of Pluto.
As a shapeshifter and the guardian of the veil between worlds, she is linked to the Samhain holiday and is represented by the symbol of the crow and raven. Reishi mushrooms unfold in her presence, a fruit that is known to thin the veil of duality in the heart.
Because of Morrigan’s association with Death, her presence is largely feared to the living, however her essence of profound mysterious and transformative beauty leaves us with a sense of wonderment and curiosity for when we shall meet Morrigan ourselves on our journey, knowing we will be immensely transformed and shapeshifter ourselves.
She will guide us through our own unique underworld to meet the treasures that have laid dormant there, and that are ready to be embodied in a different way.
Sagittarian Alchemy Original
Sagittarian Alchemy is a 6.5×9 in. original painting illustrating all things Sagittarius… this painting draws from the theme of coagulation, the last step in the alchemical process that’s symbolized in the Art card from the Thoth Tarot, the white tincture representing the elements of the Empress combining with the red tincture representing the elements of the Emperor, to create something entirely new. It also draws from themes of the traditional Temperance tarot card, with the buck’s front feet leaning into the watery subconscious, and the back feet firmly on the ground. Jupiter (Sagittarius’ ruling planet) is present in this piece through the creation strikes of power, lightning, being channeled into the feelers/antlers of the buck, infusing him with wisdom and divine knowledge. Dandelions, the herb of Jupiter graces this scene with the light of a thousand Sun’s, symbolizing great abundance in life’s medicine. Solve et coagula!
Wildflower Womban Original
Wildflower Womban is a 7.5×7.5 in. Original painting, illustrating the Wild Woman archetype and the divine feminine’s will to create and commune through the sacred portal of the womb. Rooted amidst winds of change, and cradled among her plant allies, she creates both sacred space to heal and grow within , while also maintaining boundaries necessary to nurture what is outside of herself in a sustainable way. She is the priestess of energy healing, and she will appear to us in those moments when we have forgotten how to trust our own body, and it’s vast well of wisdom that is available to us at all times… Our inner Wild Woman archetype will always show us how to move forward in our power of we choose to listen deep, and deeper still…
