All magick begins with the imagination…

This miraculous creative power is the driving force of our complete lived experience, and much like
the subconscious mind, it speaks in images…

Having a tangible, visual representation of the energies we wish to work with to reach our unique aims is vital for effective magick to take place. This is because images create a bridge between our imagination and our physical, unfolding reality.

So, using images, which is the imagination made physical, like a painting for example, is actually a symbolic gesture in itself to the forces behind our dreams becoming reality.

How brilliant is that? These layers of symbolism woven into our actions, our art and our altars are what these magickal forces are most magnetized to.

Magick and images are, in essence, one in same.

This is what living a magickal life truly means! It is all about living symbolically through taking actions aligned with our Will, and by speaking to our psyches with symbols which also align with that Will.

How can you add more symbolic meaning to your life?

Because the brain believes what it sees, imagery is crucial to any up leveling you desire to experience in your life.

If we surround ourselves with symbols of empowerment, these symbols tell our inner selves that we are indeed empowered beings. And just as well, if we surround ourselves with symbols and items that dis-empower us, guess what? We believe we are dis-empowered.

Our environment is a direct reflection of our inner world.

Often it is the outer world that must shift before the inner world can make big leaps towards what we consciously desire to experience.

We can do all of the shadow work we want, but we must take symbolic action for those shifts to reflect material reality.

Intentionally imprinting the subconscious with symbols of power directly from our environment is a beautiful and gentle way to make these quantum leaps.
