Pluto is the planet of transformation… One must dissolve in order to be transformed, just as the caterpillar must first liquefy in the chrysalis before metamorphosis is able to occur. But what happens after this alchemical process? The caterpillar is transformed into a stellar butterfly, with a greater perspective of the world, with wings so beautifully designed that we are left in awe and wonder of the full spectrum of magic that life holds.

Like a powerful volcanic eruption that smolders everything in its path, yet creates fertile soil for the seeds of our unconscious to take root and grow, Pluto pushes us to unfold into a luscious landscape of our true potential. Pluto helps us to honor, and eventually feel great love for, our shadows and unconscious desires, allowing them to deeply integrate into our inner landscape. When we unlock the shadowy doors of our inner basement and dramatically swing them all the way open, we let in the sunshine, fresh air and our minds eye to explore what is our inner make up, and from this place of loving integration, divine transformation follows.

This visual talisman is intended to honor the spirit of Pluto, promoting an openness to explore the shadow, with the intention to bring greater integration into one’s life experience.
