Libra is the gentle balancing force that allows us all to hold paradox with greater compassion, understanding and acceptance. Libra knows that not every act is just on its own, but when looking deeper, into the dark crevices of the psyche and heart, there is an understanding to be found in seeing the whole picture at play, knowing that
injustice also plays a role in our evolution to move beyond it.

The scales of justice, stretching from her Crown chakra to the heavens, represent the ancient Egyptian story of weighing out the heart on one side of the scale and the feather of Maat (truth) on the other. Doing this affirmed the pure of heart’s passage to the Otherworld with grace and ease, but only if the scales were balanced or the heart lighter than the feather… She resides in the airy cosmos, gaining a better understanding of the macrocosm, the bigger picture, as a reflection of the microcosm.
