Retrieval of Sol~ Solar Eclipse in Leo 2026

As the light of the Sun dims and filters through the dark side of the moon on this solar eclipse in Leo, we find that our sense of authority, purpose and courage is going through it’s own underworld journey.

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed by everything that needs doing at the twilight of summer, all the while feeling a call to metaphorically disappear— just as the Sun fades into the dark womb of the celestial goddess.

What this new moon eclipse is asking us is to also disappear into this moment just long enough to retrieve what we need to shine in a new way…

This south node solar eclipse marks an initiation point into what is known as the “Dragon Hole”— the space in between the eclipses where significant shifts and transformations happen.

What story are we tying up and releasing now to the dark side of the moon that is themed around who we are now in relation to who we have been?

The most effective way to do this is to ask ourselves to identify what part of ourselves keeps appearing that has historically tried to protect us, and yet in actuality continues to sabotage our ability to reach our shining, solar potential.

But more importantly, asking this part what it needs from us now.

To take a moment to get in touch with this vulnerable, yet overpowering part of ourselves is no easy thing as the world distracts us from every angle. But this eclipse, when the light grows dim, is that moment.
